WinterBall2009

I will post the Schedule as soon as I get it.

Hi Parents, Players,
I am really looking forward to this Winterball season.
My philosophy as Manager is to divide playing time equally regardless of talent or experience of the players.
We will teach the fundamentals of baseball to all of the players.
I will do my best to give each and every player the opportunity to play all of the positions.
The most important aspect is to have fun.
This AAA division is for players getting ready to play in AAA in Springtime and for those hoping to advance up to the Majors.
In Winterball we do not keep score, we bat until three outs are made, or five runs score, but we do keep track of pitch count.
All players bat, but only nine players will play defensive positions in the outfield each inning.
This is an instructional league with some amount of competition.
The schedule is not complete yet, but we will likely have 9 or 10 games.
Hopefully we will also have an end of season Tournament.
